Since it was established in La Spezia in 1952, Sepor has continued
to develop and reinforce its activities and is now a leader in Italy in
industrial and naval decontamination and in the conservation of the maritime
and terrestrial environment.
Sepor completed its production cycle, from industrial and naval decontamination
to the treatment of the related waste, with the installation in the 80’s
of the first national port plant for the treatment of bilge and oily waters
(extended later to other types of industrial waters).
Sepor provides a wide range of tank cleaning solutions.
The company, relies on more than 50 years of specialized know-how in providing
advanced tank cleaning solutions for the internal cleaning of tanks, and
vessels of all sizes.
Sepor has extensive experience in cleaning every kind of tank, no matter

on tank cleaning projects.
Our clients range from large refineries (Eni S.p.A Tamoil S.p.A , IES

S.p.A, Rossi S.p.A , Holcim S.p.A) etc.
The second core business of Sepor is related with the Port of La Spezia.
The company, in concession of La Spezia Port Authority in order to satisfy
the actual environmental law, collects daily food waste and sewage water
from ships, which then are carried to Sepor’s sterilizer and water treatment
and plant.
Everyday the company cleans the sea with in-house-built, technologically
advanced ecological antipollution vessels.
Sepor is able to react quickly in emergencies when fuel has been accidentally
spilt into the sea.
Finally, the company with its own tanker, tug-boats and motor-tanks provides
a bunker service for ships moored in the Gulf of La Spezia and in the
Carrara harbour.
Sepor’s fleet of 30 boats includes a 79 mt tanker , barges, tug-boats
and ecological vessels and the company is present throughout Italy with
its docks, modern equipment, ADR gulley suckers and highly professional
staff.
Therefore, to carry out these production processes and organize frequent
improvement plans, the company has implemented an Integrated System which
complies with Uni En Iso 9001 and Uni En Iso 14001.
